Artist Teacher Network

The purpose of the Artist/Teacher Network, formed in 1988, is to introduce to the community the fact that many of the classroom art teachers are professional artists. Individually, we have exhibited in galleries and museums in New Jersey and New York. We reflect a highly sophisticated degree of professionalism and wide range of personal appeal. The Geographic distribution of members of the Network is statewide.

Past venues for exhibitions of The AENJ Artist/Teacher Network:

Museums: The Newark Museum, and The Monmouth County Museum

Academic settings: Kean College, Jersey City State College, Gloucester County College, Georgian College, Montclair State College

Corporate: The Chubb Group, Nabisco World Headquarters, Johnson and Johnson. We show regularly at The Times Square Lobby Gallery in NYC.

Our artists represent a vast range of approaches and media, from easel paintings in oil or acrylic, to works on paper, to prints to computer art, ceramics, fiber art and sculpture.
