What is Youth Art Month?
Youth Art Month is a national annual observance each March to emphasize the value of K-12 art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs.
Why get involved in Youth Art Month?
YAM is a wonderful opportunity to share with our communities the artistic talents of our students as well as the benefits and necessity of arts education in all of our schools. YAM showcases the excellent visual arts education being provided throughout our state.
How do I get involved in Youth Art Month?
To find out what is happening in your county, please contact your county's YAM chairperson. Deadlines for entries in most county YAM exhibits is February 1st. Email your county YAM chair for more detailed information.
